VCU Health Pauley Heart Center is seeking a board-certified cardiologist with expertise in adult congenital heart disease to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive care to adults with congenital heart disease in the inpatient and outpatient setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts, including pediatric cardiologists, congenital and adult cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and advanced heart failure and transplant specialists
- Participate in outreach clinics and research and educational activities related to ACHD, such as publishing papers, presenting at conferences, teaching fellows and residents, and mentoring students
- Assist in the development of an ACHD fellowship
- Board certification in cardiology and adult congenital heart disease
- Experience in teaching and research
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with a large multi-disciplinary program
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Virginia
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment
