Adult Congenital Heart Disease Cardiologist Opportunity

VCU Health Pauley Heart Center is seeking a board-certified cardiologist with expertise in adult congenital heart disease to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care to adults with congenital heart disease in the inpatient and outpatient setting
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts, including pediatric cardiologists, congenital and adult cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and advanced heart failure and transplant specialists
  • Participate in outreach clinics and research and educational activities related to ACHD, such as publishing papers, presenting at conferences, teaching fellows and residents, and mentoring students
  • Assist in the development of an ACHD fellowship
Requirements:
  • Board certification in cardiology and adult congenital heart disease
  • Experience in teaching and research
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with a large multi-disciplinary program
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Virginia
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment
