This combined division aims to improve patient outcomes through clinical care, research, and public service. The goal is to provide top-notch care for patients with autoimmune, musculoskeletal, allergic, mast cell, eosinophil, and primary immune deficiency disorders.

Chief Purpose: The Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology at Virginia Commonwealth University seeks a full-time Adult Allergy and Immunology Physician to contribute to clinical, teaching, and research activities. The successful candidate will advance patient care, research, and teaching missions in Allergy and Immunology through direct patient care and training of residents, medical students, and other trainees.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical | Provide exceptional patient care in Adult Allergy and Immunology, focusing on areas of interest and expertise in outpatient settings. Actively participate in managing patients on the Adult AI consult service.

Teaching | Supervise residents, fellows, and other learners in a supportive environment.

Research | Support departmental research studies and encourage innovative research areas, applying for funding to support new initiatives.

Service | Serve on departmental, health system, and university committees as necessary, supporting clinical, research, or educational missions.

Other | Comply with billing, documentation, credentialing, and administrative requirements of the department.

Required Qualifications:
Board certified in Allergy, Immunology, and Internal Medicine Demonstrated scholarly and clinical abilities through patient care, teaching, and clinical research Experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
