Adult Congenital Heart Disease Cardiologist Opportunity

VCU Health - MCV Physicians is seeking a skilled Cardiologist to join our team at the Pauley Heart Center in Richmond, VA.

Position Overview

We are looking for a board-certified Cardiologist with expertise in Adult Congenital Heart Disease to provide comprehensive care to adults with congenital heart defects. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, research experience, and a passion for teaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient care to adults with congenital heart disease
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts, including pediatric cardiologists, congenital and adult cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and others
  • Participate in outreach clinics and research activities related to ACHD
  • Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and students
  • Assist in the development of an ACHD fellowship program

Requirements

  • Board certification in Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease
  • Strong clinical and research background
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Virginia
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion
