Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with market and practice leaders to develop strategic growth plans and initiatives.
- Work with regional leadership to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, leveraging internal resources and external partnerships.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and client needs to inform business development strategies.
- Estimate business impact of strategic growth initiatives and prepare reports and recommendations for executive leadership teams.
- Develop and implement plans to drive business growth and expansion in Florida, including identifying new markets and opportunities.
- Assist in the development of strategies for identifying and responding to business development opportunities, including internal expansion and external partnerships.
- Gather and analyze data to evaluate new business opportunities and assess potential markets.
- Prepare proposals, reports, or presentations demonstrating the potential value of new business opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
- Strong experience in strategy planning, development, and execution related to project management and business development.
- Ability to successfully coordinate multi-disciplinary resources needed for efficient project delivery.
- Skilled in collaborating with other internal business leaders to evaluate opportunities and strategies for growth.
- Strong networking skills and an extensive network of contacts throughout the state of Florida.
- Proven track record in business development.
- Skilled at engaging with clients and effectively negotiating contracts.
- Strong ability to influence others to achieve alignment with growth initiatives and resources needed for project execution.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to accurately and professionally present information to all levels of individuals both internal and external.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects through prioritization and workload scheduling.
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of previous experience related to civil engineering projects and business development efforts.
