Job Title: Care Partner

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Care Partner to join our team at Battlecreek Memory Care. As a Care Partner, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents with dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

Job Summary:

The Care Partner will assist residents with daily living activities, provide emotional support, and maintain a safe and comfortable environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents
  • Assist with serving meals and dining room duties
  • Perform laundry and housekeeping services as assigned
  • Document resident information and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
  • Participate in resident activity programs and events
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in senior care or a related field preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
