Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Medical Front Office/Patient Liaison to join our team at California Dermatology Group, PC. As the first point of contact for patients, this role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interface with patients, in-person and over the phone, to provide a warm and welcoming experience
  • Promptly communicate with patients and refer questions to physicians as needed
  • Optimize provider schedules using electronic medical software to ensure efficient scheduling
  • Verify demographic and insurance information, check insurance eligibility, and collect patient payments
  • Assist with insurance billing and claims management
  • Anticipate and address patient anxieties and concerns regarding upcoming procedures
  • Facilitate communication between physicians and patients, as well as between physicians and referring providers
  • Maintain office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and expediting supply orders
  • Protect patient confidentiality by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information
  • Maintain operations by following policies and procedures, and report needed changes to improve workflow and efficiency
