About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Specialist at BBJ La Tavola. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Engage with clients through various channels, including online chat, phone calls, and in-person interactions, to provide product and service information, answer questions, and resolve issues.
  • Order Processing: Process orders, prepare correspondences, and fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support Sales Team: Assist the sales team by providing quotes, processing credit memos, and following up on necessary items.
  • Event Support: Assist showroom customers in selecting linen choices for their events and recommend product offerings or services based on event information and design needs.
  • Payment and Account Management: Take payment information, record account information, and open customer accounts.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve product or service problems by clarifying customer complaints, determining the cause, and selecting the best solution.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: A history of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Communication Skills: Friendly, professional etiquette and courtesy in interfacing with customers on the telephone.
  • Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment.
  • Attitude and Rapport: Professional and friendly attitude, able to quickly develop a rapport with customers over the phone.
  • Documentation and Recordkeeping: Excellent documentation and recordkeeping abilities.
  • Teamwork and Autonomy: Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, TEAMS, etc.).
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in the Event or Hospitality industries a plus.
