Role Summary:

The Guest Services Team Supervisor is accountable for delivering outstanding guest service while overseeing hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations. This role also includes daily operational responsibilities, addressing complex guest inquiries, and collaborating with various departments to ensure a superior guest experience. In certain locations, this position may also manage a group of volunteers dedicated to providing exceptional service through guest engagement, welcome tours, and daily treats.

Position Specifications:

  • Expected Compensation: $24.76 per hour
  • Availability: Full-Time
  • Experience Level: Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distributing daily snow reports and weekly marketing updates.
  • Ensuring accurate information is shared regarding road conditions, mountain news, lift operations, and ticket promotions.
  • Leading and inspiring team members.
  • Managing Lost and Found items efficiently.
  • Overseeing the Guest Service desk and addressing guest concerns to ensure satisfaction.
  • Monitoring and responding to communications via email and phone.
  • Maintaining records, data entry, and basic computer tasks.
  • Collaborating with the Assistant Manager to ensure adequate staffing at guest service points during operational hours.
  • Validating tickets and season passes using handheld devices.
  • Acting as the primary contact for complex ticketing issues and ensuring resolution.
  • Encouraging a positive team atmosphere and love for the mountains.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Prior experience in Guest Services is preferred.
  • Possessing a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication skills with coworkers and guests.
  • Adherence to safety policies and procedures.

The expected pay range is $24.26. This reflects the anticipated compensation for this role, with individual salary decisions influenced by various factors.
