The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
Demonstrated experience in managing security and loss prevention within extensive warehouse settings.

Hands-on proficiency in overseeing security protocols for inventory management and regulating access in busy warehouse environments.

Proven capability to implement and sustain security systems tailored to warehouse operations.

Experience with e-commerce distribution centers.

Allied Universal is seeking to hire an Account Manager.

Account Managers at Allied Universal are responsible for the daily operations of a designated account, which includes hiring, training, and managing staff.

Develop, enhance, and sustain relationships with clients and employees: nurture and retain staff; coordinate necessary support services and resolve issues to effectively manage the account. Achieve or surpass financial and operational objectives; deliver exceptional customer service. Oversee the maintenance of weekly operating schedules and ensure payroll completion for assigned security personnel. Provide after-hours emergency response as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the daily security operations of a designated client site.

Manage a team of security officers and site/shift supervisors, including hiring, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, and development.

Ensure the client site receives high-quality security services to safeguard individuals and property.

Foster, enhance, and maintain effective relationships with both clients and employees.

Coordinate essential support services to effectively manage the client site and meet or exceed financial and operational goals while providing quality customer service.

Ensure compliance with all reporting and contract requirements.

Maintain regular communication regarding issues or programs with the client.

Address any escalated security issues or emergencies appropriately.

Other management responsibilities as determined by leadership.

Communicate staffing needs via requisition forms; assist recruiters in identifying, interviewing, and hiring quality candidates.

Develop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management (coaching, counseling, discipline, training, annual evaluations, recognition, etc.).


Ensure employee grievances are addressed and resolved (with assistance from appropriate support staff, as needed) and that personnel records are accurate and up-to-date (Change of Status forms, rosters, etc.).



Ensure communication of policies, company announcements, and job openings through a consistently updated READ file at each site.

Meet all contractual scheduled hours with minimal unbilled overtime.

Coordinate and/or conduct site-specific on-the-job training, client-specific training, and annual refresher training for security personnel, ensuring compliance with Allied Universal's corporate training standards.

Develop and maintain operational procedures to ensure a valid, site-specific Operations Procedures Manual and post orders are readily available for emergency reference by security staff.

Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized at the account(s), maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance logs.


Proactively communicate with the client to meet their needs; conduct regular meetings, listen to concerns, and provide security and technical expertise and solutions.

Ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Licensing requirements may be subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Effectively utilize WinTeam for scheduling and billing, and to generate reports (such as Scheduling Activity, Invoice Aging by tiers, Training Summary, and Training Detail reports) that require interpretation and action for effective business management.

Enforce Allied Universal policies as outlined in handbooks, executive memos, and on the portal.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A four-year degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field.

Previous experience in contract security, facilities management, military, or law enforcement.

At least two years of business management/operations/supervisory experience (depending on the size/scope of the client).

Ability to develop and nurture customer relationships.

Experience in hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining quality staff.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a team-oriented management environment while also working independently.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees, and client requirements on an ongoing basis.

Previous experience in payroll, billing, and scheduling preferred.

Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment while possessing an entrepreneurial mindset.
