The Senior Vice President of Acute Care Operations is responsible for overseeing a network of hospitals and outpatient facilities across Texas and Oklahoma.
  • Accountable for meeting financial objectives through exceptional quality, service, operational efficiency, and physician collaboration.
  • Reports directly to the Executive Vice-President and President of the Acute Care Division, serving as a vital member of the executive leadership team.
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of healthcare management practices, trends, marketing strategies, managed care, and the financial and clinical dimensions of healthcare administration.
Expect approximately 60% travel within the domestic U.S.

A Bachelor's degree is required, while a Master's degree is preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is necessary.

Required Qualifications
  • Oversees and directs senior management activities at facilities to achieve financial, quality, and service objectives.
  • Engages in external relationships with payors, physicians, and government officials that are essential to organizational success.
  • Selects, motivates, develops, and retains senior management talent necessary for effective facility operations.
  • Formulates market strategies and provides guidance and resources to drive superior performance.
  • Represents the organization on hospital governing boards and engages in external activities pertinent to facility needs.
  • Conducts general supervisory and managerial functions, including staffing, compensation management, performance evaluations, employee development, and communication.
  • Adheres to Service Excellence Standards in all job-related functions and activities, holding CEOs accountable for fostering a culture of Service Excellence within their facilities.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned or required.
