Position Overview:
As a Senior Tax Consultant at Forvis LLP, you will collaborate closely with colleagues to strategize for the future, assisting successful businesses and their owners in navigating tax complexities, coordinating tax strategies, and fostering growth.

Your Contributions:
In this role, you will:

  • Deliver tax compliance, tax provision, and advisory services to both pass-through and C-corporation entities, focusing on sectors such as manufacturing, distribution, construction, real estate, professional services, technology, and financial institutions.
  • Assist in supervising, mentoring, and developing junior tax professionals.
  • Help cultivate and manage client relationships effectively.
  • Provide exceptional client service, consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Represent Forvis LLP at networking events and in the marketplace.
  • Engage in the proposal process for prospective clients.
  • Participate in campus recruitment initiatives and programs.
  • Contribute to technical guidance for internal and external publications and support internal learning and development sessions.
  • Collaborate with your team to allocate projects and resolve scheduling conflicts.

Candidate Profile:
We seek individuals who possess a Forward Vision and:

  • Relevant progressive experience in public accounting or a blend of corporate tax and public accounting.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients, with experience managing multiple client engagements.
  • Excellent supervisory, team-building, and time-management capabilities.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • A willingness to take initiative and demonstrate precise attention to detail.
  • The capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Law, or a related field is advantageous.
