Your Daily Responsibilities...

As a seasonal Tax Associate at H&R Block, you will benefit from the guidance of our experienced team, which is committed to equipping you with the necessary tax training for your success. Additionally, if you meet specific criteria, you may have the chance to earn incentive compensation.

Preferred Qualifications...
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline
  • Prior experience in customer service or retail settings
  • Experience in a dynamic, supportive work environment
  • Availability to work a minimum of 25-35 hours weekly during tax season, with potential for up to 40 hours during peak periods

Your Contributions to the Team...
  • Conduct tax interviews with clients in person and through virtual platforms.
  • Prepare accurate and complete tax returns.
  • Drive business growth, enhance client retention, and promote additional products and services.
  • Provide IRS support to clients.
  • Contribute to office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.
  • Expand your tax expertise.
Your Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using virtual tools for communication.
  • Effective communication skills in person, via phone, and in writing.
  • Must meet all IRS and applicable state requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent or higher.
