Job Summary:

The part-time Receptionist at Pohanka Chevrolet Chantilly plays a vital role in our dealership, serving as the first point of contact for all customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor. This position requires working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with a diverse group of customers and team members on a daily basis. As an individual contributor, the Receptionist will be responsible for maintaining a professional and organized front desk area while providing exceptional customer service to all visitors.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and greet all customers and visitors in a warm and professional manner
  • Answer and direct all incoming phone calls to the appropriate department or individual
  • Respond to customer inquiries and schedule service appointments
  • Check-in and direct customers to the appropriate service advisor or salesperson
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Process customer payments and update records accordingly
  • Assist with various administrative tasks as needed, such as filing and data entry
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient customer experience
  • Continuously strive to provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer concerns or complaints
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Prior experience in the automotive industry is a plus
