Job Title: Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join our team at The Bowen Group. As a key member of our Contact Center, you will provide exceptional support to Veterans and their families, addressing their questions, issues, and concerns with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate and timely information about Department of Veterans Affairs services and procedures
  • Ask clarifying questions to identify complex or vague requests for VA services and information
  • Record details of calls and other service requests in a timely manner
  • Select appropriate VA services to meet the specific needs of customers
  • Maintain effective communication and working relationships with VA employees, outside agencies, and the public
Requirements:
  • 6 months of work experience in customer service and call center environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle escalating or difficult calls
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with the military and veteran community programs is a plus
