About the Demand Generation Director Role

We are seeking an experienced Demand Generation Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing programs that generate qualified pipeline for our founders and equip them with the tools and know-how to generate pipeline on their own.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build the Pipeline Generation Offering Strategy: Develop a comprehensive strategy for generating pipeline with and for our founders, including auditing current offerings, creating new programs and services, and crafting a remarkable experience for founders.
  • Execute Pipeline Generation Programs: Partner with our founders to understand their ICP, personas, and demand generation challenges, and develop prescriptive DG playbooks/experiments for founders. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, experts in residence, and other agencies to execute these programs with founders.
  • Teach & Train Founders: Help our founders make progress with hands-on execution support and teach them how to fish by training them on key aspects of DG program execution.
  • Manage Demand Gen Team Member(s), Vendors and Partners: Build and manage relationships with external vendors and other freelancers who support our DG programs, including negotiating great discounts and incentives for our founders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience supporting early-stage companies on demand generation strategies across industries, buyer personas, ACVs, and GTM motions.
  • Prescriptive approach to demand gen, understanding that it's not a one-size-fits-all function.
  • Data-driven approach, obsessed with numbers and data, and able to analyze Google Analytics, LinkedIn ad performance, cold outreach campaign metrics, and other marketing tactics.
  • Scrappy and fast, able to figure things out with limited support or budget, and excited to dig in with founders.
  • Embody extreme ownership, autonomous, and a driver, pushing things forward and proactively unblocking barriers on the way to the goal.
  • Obsessed with details and process, with exceptional organization and detail orientation.
