Commercial Laundry Business Leader

Tarheel Linen Service, Inc. offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned General Manager to take on a leadership role in our commercial laundry business. With a focus on resource conservation and social responsibility, we strive to help our customers achieve their business goals while reducing their environmental impact.
About the Role
The successful candidate will oversee the management of a stand-alone business, managing multiple functional areas, and contributing to our corporate team environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Management of plant and staff positions
- Training and mentoring of management and supervisory personnel
- Coordinate and ensure all corporate training and procedure guidelines are being met for all associates
- Manage multi-functional areas including warehouse, office administration, route distribution, and outside sales departments
- Responsible for all company assets, including building, equipment, fleet, inventory, accounts receivable, monitoring, and collection
- Customer service, sales, and marketing
- Community representation
Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
- Previous management/supervisory experience
- High level of energy and ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to pass a drug screen when required
- Formal education preferred; a four-year degree or at least three years' experience as a business operating manager
Compensation and Benefits
- Estimated salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year
