West Coast Commercial Leader for Rare Disease Treatment

At Lifelancer, we are on the hunt for an exceptional Area Business Director (West) to spearhead our commercial efforts in the Western region. This high-impact role offers a unique opportunity to shape the launch strategy for our groundbreaking treatment for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading an area field-based sales team, crafting and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that drives revenue growth and market penetration of apitegromab. To achieve this, they will work closely with cross-functional teams to align brand strategy with field activities and ensure compliant execution.
We are seeking a seasoned professional with at least 10 years of pharma/biotech commercial experience, preferably in rare and/or neuromuscular disease. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, strategic selling abilities, and a proven track record of motivating and managing high-performing sales teams. Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills are essential for success in this role.
A competitive salary of $175,000 - $225,000 per annum is offered, reflecting the importance of this position in driving our commercial success.
