Key Competencies:

Network Engineering expertise with proficiency in deploying solutions across both Azure and AWS platforms.

Experience in Ansible automation and optimizing network performance.

Position Overview:

This is a remarkable opportunity to contribute to a leading Entertainment Agency's global infrastructure operations team. The ideal candidate will possess 3 to 5 years of experience in multi-role support across on-premises and public cloud environments, including network, security, storage, virtualization, and server platforms. Familiarity with VMware administration and observability tools such as LogicMonitor is essential.

Core Responsibilities:

To succeed in this role, you will play a pivotal part in scaling operations on a global level, providing significant input into our strategic plans. This position is vital for ensuring that our IT infrastructure can accommodate our rapid international expansion, both on-premises and through public cloud resources.

All responsibilities outlined below are crucial for the effective performance of this role, with reasonable accommodations available if necessary. This hybrid position necessitates onsite presence for part of the week.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Evaluate current infrastructure processes and implement enhancements.
  • Engage in hands-on infrastructure automation initiatives, focusing initially on VMware-based virtualization support, Azure and AWS, and Ansible configuration.
  • Proficient in Cisco Networking (configuration and ongoing support).
  • Your performance will be assessed based on improvements in deployment processes and times, reduction in server alarms, and enhanced resource efficiency. The objective is to scale our global infrastructure team without increasing error reports while maintaining or improving error rates, response times, and uptime.
  • Provide proactive support for 24/7/365 infrastructure operations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in supporting mission-critical infrastructure, with a total of 8+ years in the field.
  • Service-oriented mindset, enjoying collaboration with engineers to streamline service delivery.
  • Experience with on-call responsibilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong background in IaaS/PaaS with a commitment to building a top-tier environment.
  • Exceptional technical skills in:
    • VMware and Server Deployment Automation
    • Open-source automation (Ansible)
    • Cisco Networking (Routing, Switching, Security) – CCNP level preferred
    • Storage Networking and Configuration
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
