Compensation: $143,000 plus shift differential

Position Overview: The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing patient care coordination, mentoring staff, and addressing conflicts. This role involves efficient resource management and spearheading initiatives for performance enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the patient care team to resolve patient-related concerns
  • Relay patient information to physicians and healthcare team members
  • Educate patients and families on care and treatment options
  • Encourage teamwork among staff members
  • Assess staff competencies
  • Ensure sufficient staffing levels

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse License in New York State
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; Master's Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare leadership
  • Experience in a collaborative team environment is advantageous
  • Familiarity with regulatory agency standards
  • Capability to develop staffing patterns and schedules
