Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans for patients within an assigned unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement nursing care plans that meet the unique needs of patients
  • Lead and manage a team of nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Conduct regular evaluations to assess the effectiveness of nursing care plans
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
  • One year of experience as a registered nurse
