Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and execution of internal and external survey activities along with the corresponding action plans.
- Oversee and manage risk-related occurrences and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Metrics Reporting.
- Engage in incident reporting, thorough investigations, and accurate documentation.
- Evaluate patient safety incidents, medical errors, and identify potential risks.
- Monitor and analyze incidents, providing constructive feedback to facility leadership.
- Recognize and alleviate potential risks and hazards within the facility.
- Collaborate with Legal and Risk Management teams on investigations and claims processes.
- Advocate for patient safety, quality of care, and effective cost management.
- Participate in Mock Surveys and assist the clinical restoration team as needed.
- Deliver reeducation on risk-related occurrences and implement Performance Improvement Plans.
- Support emergency situations and assist with risk-related events.
- Maintain an active RN license in good standing.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a skilled nursing environment.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and a high level of accountability.
- Ability to work in-person during daytime hours.
