At PSEG, we're seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to drive our Power Uprate Project as the Lead Responsible Engineer (LRE). This high-profile project will shape the future of our power systems, and we're looking for a visionary leader to oversee groundbreaking modifications and power uprate solutions for Salem Units 1 and 2.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and manage modification scope, system performance, and testing requirements.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure cost-effective, high-quality results and meet project deadlines.
  • Provide on-site support during installation, testing, and verification.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and contribute to emergency response efforts.
Requirements:
  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • At least 13 years of relevant experience, including 7 years in electrical design engineering.
  • Expertise in power distribution systems, data centers, and breakers, with hands-on experience using Genesis and ETAP.
  • Experience with power uprate projects at pressurized water reactors (PWR) is highly desirable.
  • Professional Engineering License preferred but not required.
