Fenix Marine Services is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our Terminal Management Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in executing daily operational plans and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Workforce Management: Direct and manage union workforce, ensuring compliance with contractual standards, resolving grievances, and taking disciplinary action when necessary.
- Safety and Compliance: Identify safety issues and implement corrective actions, emphasizing standard operating procedures.
- Recruitment and Training: Recruit, train, schedule, and approve payrolls for employees, while reviewing their performance.
- Operational Planning: Manage labor, employees, and vendors to achieve production, safety, and financial targets, promoting positive working relationships.
- Customer Service: Meet all customer service level agreements.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: College degree or applicable work or military experience.
- Computer Proficiency: Proficient in computer systems and software.
- Availability: Willing and able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Transportation: Possess a valid driver's license and ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
