Job Title: PT Residential Treatment Unit Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PT Residential Treatment Unit Specialist to join our team at Jackson Recovery Centers, Inc. in Sioux City, Iowa.

About the Role:

This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals struggling with addiction and mental health challenges. As a PT Residential Treatment Unit Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and therapeutic environment, ensuring our clients receive the highest standard of care consistent with regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the behavior of clients, providing appropriate behavioral interventions and consequences.
  • Coordinate and supervise client recreational activities.
  • Monitor assigned clients, consulting with primary counselors to develop and implement individual treatment plans.
  • Ensure client service records are maintained consistent with required rules and regulations.
  • Develop and present patient lectures, facilitating group discussion sessions and observing, monitoring, and recording group dynamics.
  • Consult with the treatment team to plan daily therapeutic direction for designated shifts.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED and one year of addiction treatment experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
