Job Summary:The PT Residential Treatment Unit Specialist will be responsible for providing direct support to clients in our residential treatment program. This includes coordinating and supervising client recreational activities, monitoring client behavior, and providing behavioral interventions and consequences as needed.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct support to clients in our residential treatment program
- Coordinate and supervise client recreational activities
- Monitor client behavior and provide behavioral interventions and consequences as needed
- Work collaboratively with the treatment team to develop and implement individual treatment plans
- Provide education and support to clients on AA step work and treatment plan objectives
- Ensure that client service records are maintained consistent with required rules and regulations
- Develop and present patient lectures as needed
- Observe, monitor, and record group dynamics
- Facilitate focal group discussion sessions
- Consult with the treatment team to plan daily therapeutic direction for designated shifts
- High School diploma or GED and one year of addiction treatment experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Valid driver's license
- Skilled in behavioral management techniques
- Ability to coordinate and present lectures for patients, parents, and community resources
