About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Sales Development Representative to join our outbound sales team at ProcurementExpress. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for opening new opportunities with key decision-makers across various industries.

Our Sales Development Representative will follow a predefined sales model and work closely with our Marketing Director to devise a bi-weekly campaign to maximize earnings. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to join a growing team and business with offices in Ireland and South Africa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn a new sales process and use it to generate new sales opportunities via outbound calling, emailing, and social prospecting.
  • Identify customer needs and opportunities.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of viable opportunities.
  • Effectively leverage CRM tools to work systematically through deals.
  • Exceed revenue targets with a strategic outbound sales approach.
  • Set qualified appointments for the Account Executive team to demo the ProcurementExpress platform solution to key decision-makers.
  • Develop strategies to address industry issues and challenges encountered.
  • Become proficient using the ProcurementExpress platform.
  • Prepare and present regular weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Attend regular coaching sessions and sales meetings.
Requirements
  • A commanding desire to learn and succeed in technology sales.
  • Proven track record of generating qualified appointments and experience in technology would be considered a plus.
  • Great phone manner and accustomed to making a minimum of 80+ outbounds per day (a combination of calls, emails, social prospecting).
  • Ambitious, process-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Ability to self-manage, disciplined, and motivated.
  • Ability to work remotely Monday to Friday, EST.
  • Reliable Internet (laptop, etc).
