Our team is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Senior Process/Specialty Engineer to join our expanding process team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume technical leadership for organizing, executing, and coordinating complex Process Technology project assignments, potentially overseeing a team of engineers.
  • Lead a team in developing drawings and specifications for project phases including study, feasibility, Front End Engineering Development (FEED), and Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Construction (EPFC).
  • Formulate Process Technology Quality Plans for projects of varying sizes.
  • Develop and manage Process Activity Plans for projects of moderate complexity.
  • Ensure the execution of Fluor's scope of work aligns with contract specifications.

Client Interaction:
  • Collaborate with client representatives, including project, planning, process, and instrument engineers, to align contract expectations.
  • Work alongside Fluor discipline engineers to create interdisciplinary drawings and specifications.
  • Provide support to Fluor project team members to enhance understanding of client technologies and business objectives.
  • Mentor team members in technology-specific skills and client business objectives.
  • Conduct studies as necessary to develop cost-effective facilities.
  • Establish schedule logic and budget estimates for effort-hours.
  • Execute a broad range of process engineering assignments, including creating and reviewing Mass Balances, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and more.
  • Participate in P&ID and Safety reviews.
  • Understand and adhere to baseline project documents such as contracts, scope of work, execution plans, schedules, cost estimates, and risk assessments.
  • Organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and global standards.
  • Uphold Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies.
  • Develop and apply core skills relevant to the role.
  • Travel may be required for business-related matters.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
