Senior I&C Engineering Specialist

In this role, you will engage in a comprehensive array of I&C design tasks, encompassing design specifications, control systems architecture, digital systems integration, PLC and DCS configuration, network setup, logic development, process controls, and P&ID support and evaluation. This position is a long-term contractual opportunity.

Work Schedule:

  • Standard hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related accredited engineering discipline
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, preferably within the nuclear sector, covering design, estimation, specification drafting, and construction documentation phases

General Expectations:

  • Proficiency in computer-aided design software is essential
  • Solid understanding of Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards relevant to electrical engineering design

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Professional Engineer License is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership to assigned engineering personnel
  • Oversee the review of construction documents
  • Interpret and implement National, State, and Local codes and standards along with customer design specifications for the development of electrical design/construction documents, specifications, and system descriptions throughout project initiation
  • Prepare engineering cost estimates and project schedules
  • Generate and validate the accuracy of design calculations and specifications
  • Execute additional responsibilities as necessary
