Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join Horrocks as a Senior Civil Engineer Lead responsible for managing and designing development and redevelopment projects for private clients.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include developing project work plans and scopes of work, preparing roadway, grading, drainage, water, and sewer plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, producing project deliverables including technical memoranda, design plans and specifications, and technical reports, administering quality assurance for project deliverables, and preparing supporting calculations, construction specifications, and permitting in various jurisdictions.

In addition, you will be responsible for partnering with other Horrocks practice leaders to assist on multi-disciplinary project pursuits, maintaining effective communications with clients and project teams, conducting regular meetings to ensure project needs are balanced with staff availability, and ensuring that staff resources are deployed in a productive and profitable manner.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, professional engineering licensure or the ability to obtain PE within one year, and at least 5 years of progressive experience with an emphasis in civil design including drainage, utility, roadway, and development design.

You should also possess strong project management and project delivery skills, the ability to supervise staff, bid projects, and develop project execution plans and technical deliverables, outstanding client and personnel skills, and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levels.
