Job Description

Layton Construction, a leading provider of construction services, is seeking an experienced Superintendent - Healthcare Construction Group to oversee the daily operations of our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise direct labor positions on assigned projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers to determine project schedules and develop 'look ahead' schedules to assess progress and spot upcoming issues.
  • Direct procurement of tools and materials to meet work schedules.
  • Ensure all parties involved in the project are informed of construction issues and progress.
  • Resolve complaints and grievances within the project workforce.
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure conformance to specifications and schedules.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction-related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of commercial construction experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction processes.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
