We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Universal Service Representative to join our team at America First Credit Union. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, promoting our products and services, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to members through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for electronic services, including mobile banking, online banking, and card guard.
  • Process teller transactions, including receiving share deposits and loan payments, computing interest, and disbursing cash or check share withdrawals.
  • Evaluate basic loan applications and credit criteria, determining the appropriate sale for the member and credit union.
  • Act as a branch expert for electronic services, actively cross-selling AFCU electronic services and assisting members with problem resolutions.
  • Assist members with new account openings and closing of member accounts, as well as directing them to appropriate contacts for more advanced and specialized accounts.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Two years of varied office experience.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent communications and public relations skills.
  • Strong typing abilities (60 wpm with acceptable accuracy & neatness).
  • Solid math and bookkeeping abilities.
  • Able to operate calculator, word processor, and related computer applications.
  • Well organized.
  • Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
