Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of developments, capital improvement, and construction projects to determine code compliance.
  • Review and approve completed work to ensure it meets the required standards.
  • Research and evaluate customer complaints, notifying appropriate individuals of issues and verifying complaints have been resolved.
  • Prepare and maintain construction and building inspection results, files, and logs, as well as prepare related reports.
  • Perform other duties of a similar nature or level, as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • One (1) year of construction experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the job's essential duties.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Level 1 Erosion Control Certification.

Physical Requirements
  • The work is medium work which requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
