As a Law Enforcement Operations Specialist within the LE Ops team, your primary responsibility will be to address a wide array of inquiries from key law enforcement officials and governmental bodies. You will play a crucial role in enhancing safety initiatives for the Client community while collaborating with cross-functional teams in Trust, Community Service, and Safety.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to inquiries from law enforcement and government agencies across EMEA, APAC, and NA regions.
  • Evaluating and managing requests related to critical safety incidents and emergencies, ensuring timely and precise engagement with law enforcement.
  • Identifying and escalating high-risk requests for further review by LE Ops management.
  • Conducting thorough investigations and accurately responding to various legal requests for user data in collaboration with law enforcement and judicial authorities.
  • Documenting investigation outcomes and decisions comprehensively while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Exercising sound judgment and providing strategic recommendations for responding to requests.
  • Collaborating with Customer Support, Safety, and Trust teams to address relevant criminal matters and liaise with law enforcement.

This role requires building strong relationships with stakeholders outside of LE Operations, including:

  • Legal Teams
  • Global Crisis Management
  • Other Trust and Customer Support/Safety Teams
  • External law enforcement and governmental agencies

Flexibility to support weekend hours may be required on a case-by-case basis.

Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 2 to 4+ years of relevant experience in legal operations, investigative roles, or analytical positions.
  • Proficiency in various computer systems and software, including MS Office.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy.
  • The ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of requests.
  • Confidence in engaging with law enforcement at all levels with tact and professionalism.
  • A proactive attitude, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • A good sense of humor and a passion for adventure.
