Director of Human Resources Compliance

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Human Resources Compliance to join our team at Daikin Applied. As a key member of our HR organization, you will be responsible for providing oversight, standardization, escalation support, and training to ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and monitor legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure DAA policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Create and manage HR programs, policies, and processes related to HR compliance, including review and due diligence of acquisition targets' policies.
- Process owner for placement, storage, and accessibility of the Employee Handbook and policies.
- Support functional owners in assessing compliance with their policies and processes.
- Manage the company's Affirmative Action Plans and EEO-1 process and serve as a subject matter expert to HR team members and managers.
- Ensure effective and consistent employee relations practices using standard tools and processes.
- Develop and deliver HR compliance training as necessary.
- Conduct HR audits to identify compliance gaps and partner with counsel to respond to OFFCP and EEOC audits, charges, depositions, interviews, etc.
- Provide interpretation of company policies and guidance on complex employee relations issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field; Master's degree or JD preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on Employee Relations or labor relations compliance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading a team.
