This position will concentrate on supervising Microsoft 365 applications, Zoom video conferencing solutions, network administration, and other essential tasks vital for the effective functioning of our learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune, Teams, and OneDrive.
2. Administer the Zoom video conferencing platform, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality for virtual classrooms and meetings.
3. Monitor and sustain the network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN connections.
4. Implement and uphold security protocols for all IT systems to safeguard data and ensure adherence to privacy standards.
5. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly, providing technical assistance to staff and faculty as required.
6. Collaborate with the Director of Technology and fellow IT team members on strategic planning and technology projects.
7. Assist in the installation and configuration of new IT equipment and software.
8. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to IT processes and configurations.
9. Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in educational technology to propose enhancements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated experience in managing Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Zoom video conferencing systems.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, infrastructure components, and security principles.
• Familiarity with endpoint management tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune) is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Experience in an educational environment or similar context is preferred.
