We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our medical call center team in West Allis, WI. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for answering inbound calls, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Answer incoming patient/clinic telephone calls professionally and address patient/clinic inquiries and requests.
- Research required information utilizing EMR and available resources to ensure patient/clinic needs are resolved.
- Develop and maintain positive patient/clinic staff relations and coordinate with various groups within the company to ensure patient requests and questions are handled according to SOP.
- Identify difficult or priority issues and escalate them appropriately, ensuring such issues are handled with care and immediacy.
- Perform follow-up patient/clinic calls where necessary and complete call logs/documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Respond to customer questions via telephone and written correspondence regarding clinic benefits, RX refills, eligibility, and website.
- Answer mainline telephone calls and route them appropriately.
- High School diploma or GED; associates degree preferred.
- 1 year of experience in an automated call center environment required.
- Medical background strongly preferred.
