Role Responsibilities
As a Personal Trainer at Equinox, your career evolves into an empowered lifestyle focused on enhancing both your performance and that of your clients.

With the support of two dedicated managers, you will cultivate and refine a strategy for programming, education, business acumen, and financial planning that ensures your Personal Training career is as limitless as your enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Business Management
    Build and sustain an active client roster, manage and uphold an accurate schedule, including client appointments, meetings, and availability within our internal scheduling systems.
  • Marketing and Sales
    Promote and sell personal training programs to members and clients through various communication channels.
  • Service and Hospitality
    Conduct fitness assessments, guided workouts, and other complimentary services for members, enhancing their overall club experience.
  • Program Development
    Create and coach personalized fitness programs for both in-person and virtual clients, maintaining an organized and safe training environment.
  • Professional Growth
    Participate in Continuing Education classes to enhance knowledge and qualify for promotions, attending required meetings with management.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A current Personal Training certification or a willingness to obtain one through our certification reimbursement program.
  • Eligibility for a higher tier and pay rate based on prior experience and education (Degree in the field).
  • Current CPR/AED certification, with certification opportunities available for non-certified applicants.
  • A passion for fitness, ambition, and knowledge in the field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, effective time management, and organizational abilities.
  • Basic computer and technology skills, along with an energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful demeanor.
