The objective of our Physical Education curriculum is to empower students to embrace their physical well-being by instilling healthy habits from an early age.
At Scheck Hillel, our educators not only impart knowledge but also guide students in becoming self-sufficient and productive members of society who appreciate independence and individuality, discovering joy and self-esteem through their accomplishments.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering our Physical Education curriculum effectively, engaging students in various exercises and sports both outdoors and in gym facilities, ensuring student safety and well-being during classes, and applying effective classroom management strategies aligned with Scheck Hillel's educational philosophy.
Ideal candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, experience in teaching physical education to high school students, a solid understanding of exercise techniques and fitness equipment usage, a friendly and confident attitude, and the ability to work patiently with students and colleagues. Familiarity with virtual teaching methods for Physical Education is essential. Knowledge of Florida's Physical Education standards and educator certification is advantageous. Experience in coaching after-school sports is preferred.
