As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms. Your expertise will be essential in preparing patients for surgery, assisting surgeons, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

Responsibilities:

* Assist surgeons in multidisciplinary procedures
* Assemble supplies and equipment for scheduled procedures according to physician's preference cards
* Aid in room turnovers, patient positioning, and preparing for following day cases
* Inspect equipment and instruments for proper working condition
* Maintain availability of instruments and supplies to avoid delays
* Correctly use, care for, and sterilize instruments, supplies, and equipment as directed
* Assist in storing and stocking supplies in the operating rooms

Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED Certification
* Completion of an accredited surgical scrub technician program

Qualifications and Skills:

* Operating room Main or ASC experience, 2 years Ortho Experience REQUIRED
* Familiarity with surgical instruments and equipment
* Ability to sit/stand for long periods; ability to lift 25-40 lbs.
* Strong ethical and moral character references
* Ability to communicate effectively and promote favorable facility image with physicians, patients, and general public
* Ability to be punctual, make decisions, and solve problems
* Orthopedic Surgery required
* Neurosurgery experience preferred
