Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Room Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for scrub duties in the operating rooms under the direction of the Perioperative Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment
  • Participate in the setup and maintenance of surgical equipment
  • Provide support to the surgical team during procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited program of scrub technician program
  • Certified Surgery Tech (CT OR)
  • Basic life support (AHA BLS)
  • At least one year of previous acute hospital experience with certification within the past three years in an Operating Room or 3 years acute care hospital experience within the last 5 years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cardiovascular surgery experience within the past five years
