Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate daily coordination between carpenters and contractors to ensure high-quality outcomes within the established project timeline.
  • Oversee that all necessary construction permits are secured by subcontractors.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards across all trades involved in the project.
  • Conduct regular meetings with contractors to discuss project progress.
  • Develop, manage, and modify the project schedule as required.
  • Communicate updates, modifications, and the status of the project timeline.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee logistics at the job site.
  • Monitor project quality control and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Provide training opportunities for team members to promote ongoing development and cross-training.

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 2 years of experience in commercial construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and civil drawings.
  • Willingness to travel is essential.
  • Prior experience in supervising project teams.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification is required.
  • Familiarity with Procore software is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety protocols and the ability to enforce the safety plan.
