About the Role

As a Lease Account Manager at Global Channel Management, you will play a critical role in managing the abstraction of primary terms and conditions of new and amended real estate lease contracts. This involves working closely with the Legal, Real Estate, and Accounting teams to ensure seamless processing of rent payments for leased real estate locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the abstraction of lease documents with a high degree of data integrity and accuracy
• Utilize a lease database to track and manage lease information
• Collaborate with the Legal team to resolve lease interpretation questions and consider the impact of new lease terms, renewals, relocations, and property ownership changes on the rent payment process
• Communicate directly with the Real Estate and Accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of rent payments
• Respond to sales inquiries and % rent correspondence from landlords, working with Lease Accountants as necessary

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in lease administration, abstraction, and lease database management
• BA in Accounting or JD in Law
• Advanced understanding of lease language and terms
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate Excel skills
• SAP skills
• Retail industry experience
