Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Operations Manager to join our team at DOSWELL OPERATING GROUP. As a key member of our Construction department, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of plumbing systems and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify installation schedules and daily/weekly schedules for on-site mechanics and helpers.
  • Supervise mechanics and helpers, including arrival time on the job, quality of work being completed, and company vehicle condition.
  • Order materials based on specifications, submittals, and takeoff to ensure that materials are on site when needed.
  • Responsible for installs per code/spec.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of verifiable experience in a commercial or industrial plumbing role is required.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Currently owns a personal set of tools required for the trade.
  • Journeyman license is required, Master's is preferred.
  • Completion of OSHA 30 certification, or willing to obtain upon hire.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and effectively interpret blueprints and other construction materials.
  • Ability to make effective decisions and have strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must have knowledge of various systems' local codes.
  • Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
