We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plumbing Foreman to oversee our plumbing operations within the construction sector. This role is crucial in ensuring that our plumbing teams are efficient, effective, and compliant with all relevant codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of plumbing mechanics and helpers on-site.
- Ensure that all work is performed according to specifications and local codes.
- Manage daily and weekly schedules for plumbing staff, ensuring timely arrival and productivity.
- Order necessary materials based on project specifications to maintain workflow.
- Conduct regular inspections of work quality and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial or industrial plumbing.
- High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Possession of a personal set of tools essential for plumbing tasks.
- Journeyman license is required; Master’s license is preferred.
- Completion of OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Driving Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, crawling, and standing for extended periods.
