Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing Mechanic to join our team at EMC Mechanical Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the assembly and installation of plumbing systems on commercial projects. Your expertise in reading prints and locating necessary information will be vital to this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and route plumbing systems to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Create lists of necessary materials for each project and verify their availability before they are required.
  • Lay out holes in existing walls for pipe installation, leaving detailed marks to eliminate confusion for others on the jobsite.
  • Train apprentices and helpers to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Journeyman's license is preferred.
  • Ability to work varying schedules, including extended hours, and adhere to client-specific safety standards.
  • Physical ability to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb, as well as lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
