The role of the Human Resources Generalist is crucial in enhancing the overall employee experience. Key responsibilities include recruiting and onboarding new employees, managing benefits and payroll, addressing employee inquiries, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and execute the organization's human resource strategy.
  • Develop and enforce personnel policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the recruitment process and oversee onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Administer employee benefits (including group insurance and 401K) and ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Oversee all company leave policies, including STD/LTD and FMLA.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, benefits, and payroll, addressing employee inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Handle unemployment claims and employment verification requests.
  • Coordinate employee performance evaluations.
  • Ensure adherence to local and national labor laws and company policies.
  • Maintain the employee handbook and policy manual.
  • Design and implement training and development programs for staff.
  • Keep employee records current.
  • Collaborate with headquarters in Korea on HR-related matters.
  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers, such as Bamboo HR and QuickBooks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with a background in managing employees across multiple states.
  • Fluency in both English and Korean.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Experience with Bamboo HR and QuickBooks is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation: $80,000-110,000/Yr
