Client Engagement Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Office Assistant to support our Community Behavioral Health treatment programs. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our clinic staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our services and enabling us to provide high-quality care to our clients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Office Manager and clinic staff
- Answer incoming calls and make necessary outgoing calls for our providers
- Check in clients, verify insurance, collect and apply payments, and inform clinicians of client arrival
- Schedule and re-schedule clients, maintain scheduling calendars for clinic staff
- Record copayments and private fees in the Avatar system
- Verify payment front logs with daily receipts on a daily basis
- Enter transportation data into the NYC PTAR system as needed
- Assist with charts, filing, scanning, photocopying, and mail projects
- Assist with coordinating Open Access, including explaining intake packets to clients and assigning clients in the Avatar system
- Track and anticipate clinic needs to order supplies accordingly
- Maintain the appearance of the reception area and waiting room
- High School Diploma plus 6 years of relevant work experience or Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant work experience
