Job Title: Engagement Coordinator

CAMBA is a community-based organization that provides comprehensive services to individuals and families in need. We are seeking an Engagement Coordinator to join our team at the Magnolia House Women's Shelter in Brooklyn.

Job Summary:

The Engagement Coordinator will provide direct interventions with clients, including one-on-one supervision and support to help them achieve their goals. This role will also involve tracking and analyzing incidents, providing crisis management assistance, and educating staff on trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and supervisors to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide culturally sensitive and trauma-informed interventions to support client well-being.
  • Conduct and document one-on-one supervision with staff to enhance client engagement and support.
  • Track and analyze incidents, providing crisis management assistance and education to staff on trauma-informed care.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience in social services or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred, with a license in social work, mental health counseling, or a related field.
  • Bi-lingual preferred.
