We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Youth Engagement Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people and contribute to the mission of the Center for Justice Innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage Youth Impact participants and volunteers, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Develop and implement program curricula, including lesson plans and training materials, to ensure a high-quality experience for participants.
- Conduct outreach and recruitment efforts to engage with local communities and attract new participants to the program.
- Collaborate with community partners, including local schools, police precincts, and social service agencies, to build relationships and promote the program.
- Organize and execute community service projects and events, providing opportunities for participants to develop new skills and build their confidence.
- Provide one-on-one support to participants, helping them to set and achieve their goals and overcome challenges.
- Attend community meetings and events, promoting the program and building relationships with key stakeholders.
