Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Real Estate Loan Administrator to join our team at U.S. Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loan documents, protecting the bank's interest, and managing a loan portfolio from approval to pay-off or maturity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and negotiate CRE loan documents to ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations.
  • Manage a loan portfolio, including construction and term loans, unsecured and secured borrowing base lines of credit, subscription lines, and other complex loan products.
  • Partner with Relationship Managers to provide excellent customer service and ensure timely loan closings.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, construction consultants, and title company representatives to facilitate loan transactions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically one to two years of experience in commercial real estate loan administration, or at least three years of transferable experience in commercial loan administration.
  • Basic knowledge of commercial real estate lending, including letters of credit, tax credit transactions, borrowing base lending, multi-phased construction, and transactions secured by multiple collateral properties.
  • Some technical expertise in closing and loan management functions.
  • Ability to meet the requirements to be commissioned as a Notary Public.
